About us
Masseria Tagliente
Masseria Tagliente extends across the Murge hills over an estate of 180 hectares, made up of oak woodland and Mediterranean scrub. The manor house, together with its adjoining chapel, is architecturally one of the most important and beautiful examples of its kind.
The family, owners for generations, has always protected the history of the estate and, even through the most recent restoration works, has carefully preserved the rare and refined architecture of a noble nineteenth-century masseria.

History
Built in 1849, the estate is a rare testimony to the past, having continuously preserved over time its original dual role as both a noble country residence and a working agricultural and livestock farm.

Our Philosophy
Our philosophy is to share with our guests the old-world meaning of “villeggiatura” — the pleasure of spending time in a country villa, enjoying rest, the scent of the countryside and the flavour of genuine local produce, in an almost unreal dimension where time seems to stand still, marked only by the passing of flocks and herds of horses.
Events
Masseria Tagliente welcomes selected events, photo shoots, exhibitions and cultural initiatives, in an authentic and timeless context.
